Double Ear Clamps provide a larger clamp range than single ear clamps. They are ideal for varying temperature or vibration fitment. To select the correct clamp for the job measure the outside diameter of the hose to be clamped. Select a clamp whose size range is close to the outside diameter. Ideally the outside diameter of the hose to be clamped would fall into the middle of the clamp size range. Using the correct clamping tool compress the clamps first ear followed by the second. The clamps ears should not close completely if fitted correctly.
